Join us to help us kick-off Philly’s newest spot for LIVE MUSIC right in the heart of Center City (very close to City Hall) at the brand new Parkside Beef & Ale at 1433 Arch Street. We will begin implementing LIVE MUSIC at Parkside Beef & Ale starting with an every Wednesday OPEN MIC on February 5th. So bring your guitar & stop by to check out the spot!
Bookings will be done by Tim McGuire & David Simons, and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday Feb 5th to discuss our plans plus look for more information about Parkside Beef & Ale rolling out soon.
Our musician hosts on Feb 5th will be Rusty Crowell and Jan Alba Crowell, plus featured Artist Abraham Dubb. Sign-up starts at 7pm & music begins at 8:00pm.
We are looking to support the Artist community of the Philly area by hosting this event. Philly has always had tremendous musicians but has not always had the strong music scene one would expect from so much talent. We look at this Wednesday Open Mic series are part of building a stronger music scene. We hope this Open Mic will become a supportive community for Singers, Musicians, people in The Biz, and friends & fans or live music.
About PARKSIDE BEEF & ALE
Its called “Parkside” because its right by LOVE Park (at 15th & Arch streets). We’re excited about this new restaurant that is looking to host live music & entertainment several nights a week. Parkside features 12 taps of mostly micro-brews, plus approximately another 50 bottled beers. The kitchen stays open until midnight and specializes in delicious hand carved old style roast beef & pork sandwiches. The menu is very affordable plus ask your bartender about the drink specials.
